Frank Ocean Hits NYC

Frank announced about a month ago that he was going on tour. But when the tour began, he had to cancel his NY date because of falling ill. So to make up for the cancelled concert, Frank Ocean rescheduled two nights back to back at the Bowery Ballroom. Here's some footage from last night, his first New York date. Enjoy.

The Sword Maker
This video is a brief piece about Korehira Watanabe, one of Japan’s last great sword makers. Korehira has spent the last 40 honing his craft and he speaks about his passion for this forgotten artform. He also talks about his quest to recreate the Koto, a type of sword that dates back to the Heian and Kamakura periods (794-1333 AD). Though Korehira feels that this is impossible, without any written instructions available, he thinks he has come very close.
